Description
A black and white photo of a woman in the yard of a Pasadena house, 2 October 1899. The view shows the lady, dressed in a dark dress, standing next to a cactus in the large yard. The home is also substantial, of two-stories with a full front porch and shingled siding. On the reverse is a message from "Lottie" to her husband. She makes reference to "Perry's head" and a small boy does appear to be peering from her the bottom of her dress. With missing corners of the mount, heavy fading, stains, soiling and abrasions, the condition is poor.
