Description

A black and white photograph of a group, possibly the Temple family and others near a water tower, Montebello, ca. 1910s. At the far left is an electric tower connecting various power lines that run across the area. Next to the electric tower is a water tower complete with side stairs, raised California and United States flags. On the stairs are people standing on the steps, on the grass and in front of the tower, a table and an easel. The men wear hats and suits while the women also wear hats and dresses with children in view. At the the top of the stairs appears a man who appears to be in the middle of raising the flags. With moderate warping, several deep creases across the photos, heavy soiling mostly on the reverse side, it is in fair condition.
