Description
A black and white photograph of a Lutheran church, Los Angeles, 1903. The image has a round frame, as if from an early Kodak, that looks as if it was a photo of another photograph in a vertically-oriented frame of the church. The structure has a tall pointed corner steeple and appears to be next to othre buildings. A few trees and a horse and buggy are also in the view. A pencil inscription, partially erased, is on the photo reading "Lutheran church / Los Angeles" and this is replicated on the fragment of album page to which the photo is pasted, though this latter also has the name "Mr. Woock," presumably the church pastor. With a tear, creases, and soiling to the image and wear to the matte fragment, the condition is fair.
