Description
A black and white photograph of a portion of the Mt. Lowe Railway, dated 20 April 1922. The image is taken from the side of the track as it winds along the steep mountain side, while a car is on the famous horseshoe curve in the distance above. The pathway appears to be unpaved and is mostly dirt and gravel. Portions of the mountainside, including rocks and bushes are also of note. In ink at the top and bottom margins is "Mt. Lowe trip -- April 20, 1922" and "Glorious view from trolley car." With album corner residue and minor soiling, some fading and other general discoloration, the condition is good.
