Description
A black and white photograph of a southern view of La Casa Nueva and the Mission walkway, what is now Don Julian Road, Puente, Homestead, ca. 1927. The image was taken at a distance from the southern view of La Casa Nueva, where Don Julian Road is located now. There is tall shrubbery all around and a fence at the lower right. Toward the middle is the south side of the Mission walkway arches and further back the West patio and La Casa Nueva's roof and solar panels, and the chimney are visible. At the far right and center are the tall palm trees, planted by the family. The top of the Tepee with sticks coming from it and the side of the chimney can be seen at the far left. With minor warping and a photographer's stamp of "22" on the reverse, it is in good condition.
