Description

A black and white photograph of a woman in a dance pose, holding a tamborine, ca. 1928. The unidentified woman wears a wide brim hat, white blouse, skirt and bolero jacket with low heels. She is posed with her right arm up over her head, holding a tamborine while her left hand is holding up and to the side, her skirt. Behind her is an automobile with California license plates that has the year on it. Toward the right of the image is a Spanish Colonial house with an arched way over the side car port, halfway separating the front porch and steps from the front lawn. There's an umbrelle at left. With minor fading, photographer's stamp of "Velox" and the number "46" on reverse, it is in good condition.
