Description
A black and white photograph of a young toddler standing outdoors near a birthday cake, ca. 1920s. The unidentified toddler leans onto a chair with presumably his or her birthday cake on the seat. The child looks toward the right and smiles at the camera. The cake has one candle on it, indicating the toddler is celebrating his or her first birthday. The toddler's hair is cut short and wears a small light colored smock with socks and shoes. The child stands in a front lawn that has lush grass and plants. At the far right, is a car port and a vehicle parked. On the far left is a portion of the front of a home and window visible. With an Anderson, El Monte photographer's stamp, and the number "79" on the reverse, minor warping, and a small section of the top of the edge, front side is some loss due to silverfish, it is in good condition.
