Description
A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple and Luis Fatjo standing at the side of the front door of La Casa Nueva, August 1927. Agnes stands on the left and wears a smock dress with her hands in her front pockets, light colored stockings and leather shoes. Her hair is slicked back is short and is waved. Luis Fatjo who would become Agnes' husband stand to the right of her and wears eyeglasses, golfer's pants, a buttoned jacket and diamond patterned, high socks with leather shoes. He has his hair styled, parted on the side and slicked back and shows his hair is curly. His hands are held behind his back and both Agnes and Luis are smiling at the camera. Behind the couple is the carved design of an arch with vine leaves all around and grape bushels. A duplicate photo in the collection had a processed stamp with an August 1927 date. With minor warping, fading, writing on the reverse in pencil of "700" it is in good condition overall.
