Description
A black and white photograph of an unidentified woman and Nellie Didier sitting on the fountain in La Casa Nueva Courtyard, Homestead Museum, ca. 1920s. The photograph could have been taken during the St. Joseph's Altar Society gathering during 1928. The woman on the left wears a sweater and a floral dress with belt and heels. She has her arm around Nellie as they both smile at the camera. Nellie also wears a sweater and a dress with heels. Both women have their hair short and slightly waved. There are pottery pieces on the fountain, on the mill stone, palm and shrubbery as well as the western portion of the Guest Wing of the La Casa Nueva. With minor soiling mostly on the reverse and a number of stamp of "22", it is in good condition.
