Description
A black and white photograph of an unidentified woman with a white cat, ca. 1920s. The woman looks directly at the camera and smiles as she holds up a large white fur cat from its front paws. She wears a dark long sleeved sweater with an adorment of flowers on her right lapel. Her hair appears to be short and she wears a circular patterned dress or skirt. She is posed with the cat on a lush grassy lawn. Behind her and to the right are trees, chicken wire fencing and a view of a mountain range further in the background. With minor warping, a pencil marking, photographer's stamp of "VELOX', and "72" on the reverse side, it is in good condition overall.
