Description
A black and white photograph of Asian grocery store workers in the interior of a market, Sun Produce Company, ca. 1920s. There are four market workers wearing aprons as they pose next to boxes of produce. They look directly at the camera and some are smiling. There are rows upon rows of vegetables and fruit, weight scales, and shoppers in the background. At the far background are glass windows, an advertisement for Federal Bankers on the window, the name "Young's" is painted on the far wall toward the right. There is a pergola type of wooden structure in the middle of the store that seems to hold the weight scales. Also, there are hanging lights throughout the store. With moderate fading, stains on the reverse, it is in good to fair condition.
