Description
A black and white photograph of La Puente Valley Texaco service station, 1928. The photographer stood on a wide dirt area perhaps fifty or so feet from the wood-frame business, which has two pumps out front, a large sign on top with the station name and Texaco brand. At the corner facing is proprietor Jose Cota. To his left is an automobile and to the left is a truck. The year is written in ink at the lower right. The station was located at what is now Old Valley Boulevard in the town. With minor soiling, edge abrasions, fading, and warping, the condition is good.
