Description
A black and white photograph of Maud Bassity, Walter P. Temple and an unknown woman standing in front of a home, ca. 1920s. Maud stands on the left and smiles looking at the camera. She wears a cloche hat, shawl tied at the front of her chest, and a coat with a dress. Her hair is cut short. Maud was the Temple family's housekeeper. Walter standing at center has a fedora hat on, a three-piece suit, tie and overcoat. He looks toward the right and smiles while he holds on his left hand, a cigarette. The woman on the left looks toward Walter and smiles. She wears a long cardin sweater and has both hands in pockets. She also wears a dress and has her hair slicked in a bob hair style. Behind the trio is a house made of wooden siding. In front of the group is a chicken wire, arched fencing. Further in the top, background appears to be an oil derrick, possibly in the city of Montebello. With minor warping, some fading to the image, creasing, soiling on the back and a photographer's stamp of "14" it is in good condition.
