A black and white photograph of one side of Wilton Place, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The image is taken from the front yard of one of the houses and looks up or down the street. Portions of some houses, their yards, the sidewalk, palm and other trees in a median and a little of the street are in view. An ink inscription on the reverse reads: "Looking north on / N. Wilton Place / our street & residence / at Right with Tile Roof." An ink inscription on the bottom, however, reads "S. Wilton Place, L.A. Calif." The house mentioned has a projecting front porch, mansard-style tile roof, window planter boxes on the second floor and ivy growing on the porch columns. With small missing pieces at the right corners, creases, minor browning, soiling and edge abrasions, the overall condition is good.
