Description

A black and white photograph of the La Casa Nueva Courtyard looking south, Homestead, ca. 1927-1930. The elevated view shows the roof tile, solar panels, and the second floor patio with the wooden rafters and adobe, plaster covered columns. The photo was most likely taken from th top of the Mission Walkway. There is a minor glare toward the top and middle right, most likely due to exposure during the photo development. There is more tile covering over the west and east porticos and cloumns on the first floor. Toward the far left is a portion of the metal supports of a porch swing. At the middle are the banana palms, fountain and other plants. There is a woman walking on the right perhaps Agnes or Mrs. Bassity. With minor warping, the number "39" written on the reverse, it is in good condition.
