Description

A black and white photograph of the Temple brothers, Walter and Thomas with a friend, Luis Fatjo, ca. 1920s. The trio appear to be in a room, perhaps a college dorm. Wally and Thomas are sitting on the lower bed of a bunk bed. Luis is seated on a chair at the far right. All three look at the camera. Wally and Thomas wear a vest, tie with rolled up sleeves, and trousers. Luis wears a suit with his jacket buttoned up, tie and trousers. Behind them is a chest of drawers with a studio portrait of a woman on top of the furniture piece, possibly that of Agnes Temple. Also visible is the matching mirror accompanying the drawer and at the upper section is a portion of a pennant hanging from the wall. Luis married Agnes Temple in November of 1929. With moderate fading, minor warping, soiling and pencil markings on the reverse, it is in good condition.
