Description

A black and white photograph of unidentified men standing in front of a possible shaft opening on a mountain side, ca. 1920s. The group of five men pose in front of an entrances to some kind of mine. They all werar hats, long sleeved shirts and trousers. The man at the far right, resembles Walter Temple Sr., but due to the bluriness of the image, it is difficult to discern. The two men at the far right grab on to a long stick as they all smile or look at the camera. Toward the lower right are metal pipes and a hammer. With minor warping and a crease, scribbling on the reverse with pencil, it is in good condition.
