Description

A black and white photograph of unidentified young women standing near the Temple family pool, Homestead, ca. 1925. The group of five young women are seen standing near the Temple family pool. One of them squats down while holding on to a pole to her left as she touches a pool float in the water with her right hand. The young lady next to her is holding a Brownie camera and looks at the person taking the photo. Behind the group are bushes, chicken wire fencing and the handball court wall at the far background. The women all wear dresses, and a couple of them wearing cardigans. The group are most likely Agnes' classmates from St. Mary's Academy, taken during the time when her class held their senior picnic at the rancho. The image was obviously taken during the 1920s but the back print of Kodak paper was used during a the later years of 1961-72, suggesting that the printing of the photo was done later. On the reverse, written in pencil is the year "1925." There is also a minor crease at the top, left corner. It is in good condition.
