Description
A black and white photograph of Walter and Laura Temple on a cruise ship to Mexico, July 1922. Walter sits on a wicker chair, legs crossed and looking away from the camera. He wears a light colored suit, hat, and Oxford leather shoes. Laura stands on the right and looks directly at the camera. She wears a wide brimmed hat, scarf, a linen dress, a crucifix necklace around her neck, and Oxford leather shoes as well. She rests her right arm and hand on the back of Walter's chair. The couple are on the top deck of the cruise ship, numerous ship cables are visible in the background, the ship's railings and possibly a worker. The photo is in good condition despite the minor warping, photographer's stamp "VELOX" on the reverse, and a number "39" written in pencil.
