A black and white photograph of Walter Jr. and Nellie Didier, La Casa Nueva courtyard, Homestead, Puente, ca. 1920s. Walter and Nellie are sitting down on the edge of the fountain in the courtyard of La Casa Nueva. The couple smile at the camera while the shadow of the photographer can be seen toward the bottom and mid area of the image. Wally wears a three piece suit and tie. Nellie has a short marvel wave bob and wears a dress with a cape collar and a necklace with a tear dropped shape pendant around her neck. Behind the couple is one of the mill stones that make up the center decor of the fountain as well as the large palms and other shrubbery. Portions of La Casa Nueva's roof and the East Wing open aired patio are visible. The photo is in good condition with only minor warping, a photographer's stamp of "22."
