Description

A black and white photograph of Walter Temple Sr., Walter Jr. and possibly Agnes standing in front of a cathedral, Plaza de la Catedral, Havana, Cuba., ca. 1920s. The trio stand on the steps of the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception. The Baroque styled church has numerous columns flanking the north side of the building with wooden and metal components to the large doors. It is said to have been built from blocks of coral. The church is located at the Plaza de la Catedral in Old Havana. There appears to be an opened door on the left and one on the right of the trio, perhaps indicating the entry and exit ways. At the far left is a man in a hat looking at the camera, while another man in a hat stands with his back turned to the camera, standing off to the right and looking at the trio on the steps. The area is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. With minor fading, wapring, "VELOX" and number "970" stamp on the reverse, it is in good condition overall.
