Description

A black and white photograph of "Yvette's Class - Rowland," large group of school children in a class room, ca. 1920s. The group of Latino and Asian students appear to be between the ages of five to eight years of age. They are all posed standing in two rows against a wall that has art hanging. One male child has his back turned to the camera and sits on a stool while another boy sits on a table and leans forward crying. At the far left is an art easel, window and a bird cage and stand. Toward the righ right is a section of another area of the class, a desk and empty chair. With minor warping, fading, a crease at the lower right corner on the reverse, photographer's stamps of "ANDERSON/Photo Service/EL MONTE," and "13." The photo is in good condition overall.
