Description

A black and white portrait of a bride in her gown, Alhambra, California, ca. 1910s. The image shows the woman with her head slightly tilted toward the right and smiling at the photographer. She is standing in a room with papered walls, a table in the corner, a fringed floor lamp near a window and a framed print on the wall. She wears a calf-length gown, a wide-brimmed hat, and heeled shoes, all of a light color, and holds a bouquet of flowers in front of her. The photographer was Stockton. With some soiling, mainly on the reverse of the matte, which also has some moderate rubbing and corner creasing, the overall condition is good.
