Description
A black and white, press photograph of Lucille Pinson, one of two proclaimed Miss Los Angeles contestants, 20 August 1926. Pinson is smiling and dressed in a light nautical themed swimsuit and a head covering. She sits on what appears to be a rock jetty while water splashes up from the ocean. On the back are two typed pasted-down captions discussing the conflicting claims of two newspapers declaring their own "Miss Los Angeles." Doctoring for preparation for publishing is notable. With pencil inscriptions, a date stamp, a bar code, a missing bottom left corner, creases, soiling and staining, the overall condition is good.
