Description
A black and white real photo postcard of a tour group at the National Soldiers Home, Sawtelle, Los Angeles, October 1908. A large group is photographed walking on a wide dirt road on the grounds of the facility near a large structure, perhaps the main administration building, though it is obscured by palm and other trees. It is presumed the group was part of the Balloon Route or similar excursion then popular in the area. With some soiling, fading, dented corners and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
