Description
A black and white real photographic postcard of a house in Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The Craftsman-style house has an unusual sloping roof and large overhanging eaves, three-quarter length front porch with a balcony above to an upstairs room, a tall chimney at the left and a long set of stairs from the street to the raised pad. At the bottom is the address of 1249 Bonnie Brae Street, where there is now a parking lot, with the adjacent house, partly in view at the right, still extant. On the reverse in ink is, "Mrs. F. M. Holmes." With some light soiling and minor edge rubbing, and moderate fading, the condition is good to fair.
