A black and white snapshot of a woman cooking at Griffith Park, Los Angeles, 5 March 1922. The photo shows the subject, Clara Hasler, cooking outdoors using skillets and platters on an open iron grille of the barbeque, which has a red brick base and chimney. The background shows trees, land with minimal structures around, a car parked behind her, and a mountain range further back. On the reverse in pen is: "Sunday, Mch 5, 1922 in/ Griffith Park, Los A. / Picnic breakfast for / Mildred and Lucile by / Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong & / Cousin Clara Hasler." With soiling and album corner residue, the condition is good.
