Description
A black and white snapshot of an open-air market from the street, Long Beach, February 1914. Taken from the opposite end of the roadway, the view shows rows of horse-drawn vehicles parked, presumably with carts open to the sidewalk for vending. A mass of trees in the background might suggest a park is there, though the area was residential, based on item .1. On the reverse in pen is "Market at Long Beach / Feb. 1914." With soiling, creases and album corner residue, warping, the condition is fair.
