Description

A black and white snapshot of flood damaged areas from the St. Francis Dam disaster, 8 April 1928, Los Angeles, Thomas Ward. The area is north of Saugus and shows a broad landscape view with mountains in the distance, and evidence of the aftermath of the flood. There are tree trunks swept up against a small cliff bank and dried mud covering the ground. With moderate warping, minor fading, and soiling, the general condition is good.
