Description
A black and whitte snapshot of a cookout at Griffith Park, Los Angeles, 5 March 1922. The photo shows two women in aprons and a man standing near a barbeque with a brick base and chimney and an open iron grille. The woman at the left holds up a piece of meat and the one on the right has a spatula in her right hand. Skillets and platters are on the grille. The background shows trees, land with minimal structures around, a parked car, and a mountain range further back On the reverse in pen is: "Sunday, Mch 5, 1922. / Scene in Griffith Park, / L.A. / Mr and Mrs. Armstrong & / Mildred's Cousin Clara / Hasler." With soiling and album corner residue, warping, the condition is good.
