Description

A bottle of Pale Face ginger ale, made by General Food Products Company, Los Angeles, 1926. The green glass bottle had what looks to be a foil wrapper at the top of the neck. At the base of the beck is a paper label with the words "PALE FACE / BRAND" on it. The main label at the bottom of the body has the same words on it and "THE / CHIEF / OF / PALE DRY / GINGER ALE" as well as an image of a man in a tuxedo and an Indian chief holding champagne glasses aloft. The company name and location are also on this larger label. The glass is heavily soiled and the labels are very dirty as well as torn and stained with some losses, so the condition is poor.
