A bound volume of the "Normal Outlook," the student newspaper of the State Normal School, Los Angeles, 10 September 1915 to 16 June 1916. The newspaper was a four-page weekly with student and school news, editorials, a sports section, photo and cartoon illustrations and advertisements for local businesses for the teacher training school formerly headquartered at what is now the Central Public Library and then at what is now Los Angeles City College. The name "Patrice Armstrong" is in gold lettering at the bottom left of the front board, The boards have much edge and corner rubbing, scratches, stains and other wear, while pages are quite clean, so the overall condition is good.
