Description
A boy in front of a building at Occidental College, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, 6 February 1916. The young man, George Courtney, stands in a dirt area with a few trees next to what looks like a relatively newly-constructed Mediterranean-style three-story structure with a tile roof. On the reverse is an ink inscription noting that the building was the library and dining room of the campus, which was founded in Boyle Heights and then was in Highland Park until earlier in the decade. With some light soiling, the condition is good.
