Description
A boy standing in front of a building at Occidental College, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, 6 February 1916. The youngster, George Courtney, is near a broad set of steps leading to a Mediterranean-style structure with projecting front wings and a tall entrance with two columns. An ink inscription on the reverse states this was one of three buildings at the relatively new campus and it is now Johnson Hall, a Myron Hunt designed structure. With a small loss at the upper left corner and some light soiling, the condition is good overall.
