Description
A real photo postcard of a bridge, San Gabriel Mountains in California. 14 May 1915. The wooden footbridge lays across a dry stream and is decorated with twigs and branches. There are trails on either side of the stream bed, both of which are elevated and next to stone retaining walls. There are two structures on the right side of the image as well as forest debris on the trails and in the stream bed. The message on the back indicates that the sender and recipient will meet at Cuddle Inn on the 16th. The back has an advertisement for the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco. With some mirroring, abrasion and moderate fading, the object is in good condition overall.
