Description

A Christmas card, 25 December 1874. The card has a pink and white floral embossed border, within which is a wreath landscape scene and the words "Wishing you a / Happy Christmas" within that. At the bottom are the remains of what appears to be a pasted-down flower. At the bottom in an ink inscription, "Papa" and "Xmas./74." On the reverse is a message from a father to a daughter and the date, 25 December 1874. It is assumed this, like item .1 which has the same recipient, is a British card. With adhesive residue and soiling on the verso and some soiling on the front, the item is in good overall condition.
