A broad view of an oil tank fire near Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. Taken from a neaby structure, the image shows thick black smoke rising from the tank, which is surrounded by other tanks, smokestacks and other structures at what seems to be a refinery. In the foreground are a couple of dozen cars parked next to more structures. A railroad track with tanker cars is between the two sites, likely part of the same complex. There are alo many observers in the foreground and near the track. There is no identification and with some soiling, a crease or two, and slight curvature, the condition is good.
