A broadside advertising the candidacy for Congress of Henry Z. Osborne, Los Angeles, 1916. On one side is a small oval photo of the candidate along with text promoting him and giving his headquarters contact information. On the other is the "record of service" for Osborne, who was publisher of the Bodie Daily Free Press in the mining boom town from 1879 to 1884 and the Los Angeles Evening Express for the thirteen years following, as well as a federal marshal and customs collector and president of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. With soiling, stains, bumps, creases, and warping, the condition is fair.
