Description
A Bullock's box, Los Angeles, California, ca. 1950s. The box was from the department store chain and was often used as packaging for products such as jewelry or garment pieces. Another object from this acquisition, a bundle set of hair extensions were placed in this box. The lid (a) has a stamp on it with a crest of ribbon banners, lions and the store name at the top and at the bottom are words in Latin "SUPREME/REGNAT/QULITAS." The bottom container (b) has no distinguishing marks. With heavy foxing, abrasions along the edges, tearing of the top lid and other stains, it is in fair condition.
