Description
A cabinet card full-length studio portrait of two priests, Frank G. Schumacher, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The image shows one man seated on an ornately carved bench and the other leaning against a piece of statuary. Both wear dark three-piece suits and clerical collars, as well as crosses attached to watch chains affixed to their vests. Each has top or stovepipe hats and carries a cane. On the reverse is a pencil inscription: "Fr. James W. Allen + Monsignor." With much soiling, some stains and edge abrasion, the overall condition is fair.
