Description
A cabinet card of a couple posed for studio portrait, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The image shows a man and woman identified on the reverse as David Antune and Elisa Alvarado. The man is seated on an upholstered chair with his hands on his lap and wears a three piece suit. The woman wears a long sleeve, high neck bodice with a broach, numerous buttons and a skirt with a gathered pattern on the front, trimmed hem line. The background shows a drawn image of a curtained patio with columns. It is in good condition despite the minor browning of the image, warping, abrasions, and inscription in ink identifying the couple.
