Description
A cabinet card of a four-masted sailing ship with a stamped caption "A Merry Christmas," ca. 1880s. The ship is shown anchored at a dock with its sails down. A flag flies from the mast at the far right. At the far left is the ship's name, which appears to read "London Hill." In the background are many buildings of the port city, but there are no inscriptions or identification. At the bototm in gold lettering is the greeting. With extensive staining, soiling, browning, and edge rubbing, the condition is fair.
