Description
A cabinet card of two hunters at Mount Waterman, San Gabriel Mountains, 1898. The view shows the pair with rifles standing on rocks with a panorama of mountains in the distance. Around the two are a few trees and what might be a burned remnant of a pine. In ink on the revrese is "Above the snow line / Mt. Waterman." That peak is just northwest of Pine Flats (Crystal Lake), where item .1 of the accession was taken. With a white line from the exposure of the film at the left and moderate soiling and rubbing, the condition is good overall.
