Description
A cabinet card photo of Margarita A. Temple (1866-1953) posed for a studio portrait, Wolfenstein, Los Angeles, ca. 1870s. Margarita appears to be no older than 5 years of age. She is posed in a studio wearing wavy hair worn down with a head ribbon, gingham patterned silk dress, laced up boots, light colored tights, possibly gold crucifix necklace. Her hands are clasped together and rest on the arm of a velvet chair that has a tapestry draped over it. The arm chair has a decorative fringe handing from it. The photographer's name and location is printed at the bottom edge. With moderate soiling, minor foxing, stains and warping, the object is in fair condition.
