Description
A cabinet card photo of the Circular Bridge on the Mt. Lowe Railroad, San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1890. The trolley car is seen rounding the curve of the bridge that hangs over the edge. A separate set of tracks are visible on an upper grade. The circular bridge leading to the Granite Gate, at an elevation of 4200 feet, was used to travel between Echo Mountain and Mount Lowe. The photo was taken by Garden City Foto Co. The photograph is in good condition with minor surface scratches, abrasions, warping, and stains.
