Description
A cabinet card photograph, "#215 Alpine Tavern Mt. Lowe Cal.," Munsey, ca. 1898. The view shows the three-level structure with its rock-walled basement and two upper stories of wood partially obscured behind large spreading pak trees. At the far right is a streetcar stopped on the track that curves in front of the structure. An American flag is above the car. The photo is mounted onto album paper with photo .5 on the other side. With some warping, and light soiling, the condition is good.
