Description
A cabinet card photograph, "#221 Fremont Gate — Entrance Elysian Park," Los Angeles, Munsey, ca. 1890s. The view shows the ornamented post and base on one side of a wide drive ascending into the park from the street in the foreground. At the left is a portioned of the terracing on the hillside in the park. The number, title and photographer's surname are in white at the bottom and the image is pasted down to a gray photo album page. With distortion caused by warping, fading, and minor soiling, the overall condition is good.
