Description
A cabinet card photograph, "311. The Lake at Baldwin's Ranch," ca. 1890s. The view shows the rock-lined lake with water coming in from a pipe at the left and what looks like a small rustic boathouse at the opposite end, while lush landscaping, including many trees surround it. This was part of the Rancho Santa Anita headquarters and is now a centerpiece of the Los Angeles County Arboretum. With some creases, a slight tear at the top edge of the matte, and light soiling, the condition is good.
