Description
A cabinet card photograph, "45. View looking South," Los Angeles, Stanton and Burdick, ca. 1889. The image appears to be from Bunker Hill and takes in some houses and what appears to be a church in a residential area of the city. The distance appears hazy. On the reverse are stamps with the number and title, the photographer's names and address, and the name and address of Souder Brothers book and stationery store. With the lower right corner gone, a large stained area at the upper right, other staining and soiling and curvature of the mount, the condition is poor to fair.
