Description
A cabinet card photograph, "68 Interior of Old San Gabriel Mission," unattributed, ca. 1890s. The view is taken from near the back of the church looking toward the altar and includes more elaborate church pews with backs towards the altar and simpler, rougher backless benches closer to the camera. Paintings are hung from the walls and doorways and window openings are also of note. With warping, major vertical creases at the area right of center, and edge yellowing, and tears, the overall condition is fair.
